Simulations
Qualification Challenge First Round
In this two-hour session, students will embark on a journey of visual discovery. By comparing images from a century ago with those from today, students will hone their observation skills. As they delve into these historical snapshots, they will be encouraged to ask probing questions about the changes they “see” and to “think” critically about the human needs that have driven these advancements.
Qualification Challenge Final Round
Through visual comparisons of specific scenes in Taiwan and abroad, this exercise aims to cultivate the ability to "induce conclusions from observations" and "formulate verification methods" by identifying best practices in foreign contexts and assessing their applicability to Taiwan.
Real Case Challenge
Students will visit retail stores to observe and document customer experiences. They will then brainstorm, prototype, and test innovative solutions to promote sustainability. Students will present their findings directly to multinational corporation and learn how to verify the feasibility of their ideas. This challenge is designed to develop students “creativity and practical skills” .
Reflection Record
Self-Reflection Questions
- These questions will help students delve into the critical decisions they made during the challenge and learn from them. These will serve as a record of their growth journey.
- We encourage students to take advantage of the opportunity to record their journey and gain valuable insights. However, this is non-compulsory and up to the individual student.
High Quality Answers
- A collection of outstanding student works from previous challenges, this portfolio allows students to learn how others have applied the See Think Wonder framework in similar contexts. By reflecting on these examples, students can gain insights into the creative processes of their peers.
- To maximize their learning from high quality answers, students are advised to begin by reviewing the provided self-reflection questions.
